The working space (view Theater space by clicking on the images below) measures 32' X 16'. It is a space large enough to be used in several conformations, long-wise, with seats on three sides, or straight-on, giving a playing space of about 20' X 16'. Personally, I directed a major production of a play with a full set and 24 actors in a space slightly larger. It is a good, intimate, working space. And, large enough for technique classes. The floor is silent and comfortable to work on, but it is not a dance floor.
The space can also be used for other types of classes not related to acting, lectures, readings, etc. It can seat 25 people comfortably, in any conformation of seating arrangements.

There are 24 small, 75 watt, lighting instruments, on three tracks of eight instruments apiece, each track having a separate dimmer switch. The lights can be moved and aimed wherever one wants to aim them.
There is a small room for changing and preparing, a coat rack and garbage can.
For sets and props, we use black, wooden cubes that can be used to make beds, sofas, and other spaces, as well as several tables and chairs.
In the small dressing room there is shelving that holds limited props, glasses, plates, telephone, a working CD and radio, etc. And, there are sheets, pillows, and a mirror. Everything one needs, without removing the actors need to use his or her imagination.
The main space has two large windows, with black, Venetian blinds, which can be closed to block out any light or the sights of the dance class in the building on the other side of 38th street. Summing up, it is an comfortable, intimate space, that is large enough for groups of actors to work and perform in.
